My paladin character Yelena. I guess the definition of paladins is that they are knights who have been considered heroes or champions working for a divine power in some sort of way. RPG fans, correct me if I'm wrong.
I realized that the color scheme and certain elements may look like previous pieces, but this was practice for me again on getting rocks, metal and skyscapes. The color scheme and composition was begging me to repeat this time. I'll change the whole look in my future stuff, promise.
MEDIUM: Pencil, Corel Painter IX, and Adobe Photoshop CS2
No, a paladin is much more than a simple knight following a church or religion. Paladin is the light, the candle, that travels inside the darkness to fight for hope, justice and all that kindness represents. Paladins are not mere champions of arms and magic, they are the defenders of the weak and they are those who shall not falter, who shall not drop their heads when facing any difficulty, who shall show no weakness to evil even if they are at their worst. Thank you.
As for the pic, it is a very beautiful one, and one that is not painted just for the likes of some "holy-naked-lovers", like someone previously mentioned. If you'd allow me though i'd say that i would prefer something more like a greatsword or a bastard sword for this strong looking woman.
No, I think you have the definition of Paladin correct. I got into a chat with my parents about Dungeons and Dragons, and that's pretty much their definition of a sort-a Warrior/knight+a Cleric=A Paladin-They can kick your ass, heal you up, then kick it again.
